Five Dead Heroes is first and foremost a new, edifying, and just-plain-cool FACEBOOK group: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2228749912
This blog will be used primarily to post the FDH Compilations Volumes. Each PDF volume will contain the five dead heroes of 20 individuals.
From the Facebook Group Description:
If your life could be defined by 5 dead, extra-biblical heroes, who would you pick? Hopefully, you’ve got some heroes and you’d pick them!
This is a group designed to network around dead heroes of the Christian faith.
It’s simple, edifying, and it may result in networking with some likeminded believers:
#1 Check out the existing heroes here by looking at the pictures and reading the discussion board. If some of the heroes here are the same as your heroes (or at least the same flavor), wonderful! Progress to #2!
#2 Consider who your 5 dead heroes are. Please start a new topic with a title like this: “Your Name’s 5 Dead Heroes.”
#3 In the body of your topic post, list the names of your 5 Dead Heroes.
#4 Next to each dead hero’s name, write a ONE SENTENCE reason as to WHY that person is your hero.
Feel free to provide us with links where we might get to know your hero better. Quotes from one or more of your heroes posted to “The Wall” are always appreciated!
IMPORTANT: Our ultimate hero is Jesus. We should choose heroes based on their likeness to and reflection of our Ultimate Hero. Amen? Amen!
